“Sector strengthening to support Green Tourism development in Quang Nam” workshop

On 24 Feb 2023, the SSTP collaborated with the Quang Nam DCST held a PPD workshop “Sector strengthening to support Green Tourism development in Quang Nam” with the objectives to

To identify opportunities to support the Green Tourism Certification Board and rollout of GT Certification Assessments
To identify solutions to current challenges: HR and Training, VTCI rankings, tourist services
To facilitate public-private dialogue for a stronger tourism sector

Nearly fifty participants from the tourism sector attended, including representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCST), Tourism Association, Tourism Advisory Board, Tourism Information Center, different District-level offices and People Council Committee members, and other provincial agencies.
