Train the Trainer course in Sustainable Tourism in Hanoi (continued)
On December 13, at the Ha Noi Tourism College, thirteen trainers from Ha Noi and surrounds were certified after fruitful completion of a ToT at Ha Noi Tourism College.
During the first week of December 2020, SSTP – in cooperation with the Ha Noi Tourism College - conducted a Train-the-Trainer course (ToT) for experts from the tourism industry and tourism teachers.
The training concerned two Sustainability subjects, notably “Monitoring & Measuring of Sustainable Tourism” and “Sustainable Management of Tourism Enterprises”.
As a result, by the end of 2020, the SSTP delivered six Trainer Training courses (in Ha Noi, Da Nang, HCMC and Can Tho city).
In total 62 participants successfully completed one of these courses. 25 of those came from the tourism industry. The remaining 37 were teachers from Tourism Training Institutes that will incorporate SSTP’s Sustainable Tourism Training Courses into their curricula.
