Vietnam Tourism Competitiveness Index dissemination
Mr. Truong Nam Thang, the SSTP's representative (right hand, front) attended the meeting with TAB, Quang Ninh Department of Tourism (DOT) and Committee IV on dissemination of VTCI 2020 results
SSTP continued to support TAB for the implementation of Vietnam Tourism Competitiveness Index (VTCI) in major destinations and provinces.
A series of VTCI meetings in key provinces were organized and funded by SSTP from November to December 2022.
The objective of these meetings was to disseminate the results of VTCI 2020 at the provincial level, to discuss with the stakeholders to improve the development of tourism and to increase the competitiveness of the destination, by receiving the comments of the provinces.
The first Vietnam Tourism Competitiveness Index (VTCI) meeting was held on November 3, 2022, in Quang Ninh Province.
Attendees included representatives from TAB, Committee IV, SSTP and Quang Ninh DOT.
